Big Wins this Week for Me – and A Few Bad Apples
Saturday, Feb 14, 2026 Today has been a fairly good “catch up” day. I’m still way behind since we were so busy last week. I’m trying to lay low and get office time in to catch up. I’m not getting any of my extra “annual goals” accomplished. I’ve floated the same 7 or 8 things on the project list for several weeks. This is in addition to several other tasks I’ve had to forward. I did a load of towels and washed the new sheets George gave me for Christmas and put those on my bed. I also washed my flannels that came off of my bed. So much for…

Feeling Content: Journaling Between Holidays
Saturday, Dec 27 It’s been a really nice day. I was awake around 3:30 or 4:00 and my brain was very active. I reordered my To Do List for what was acceptable for me to do today. And went back to sleep. We got up around 7. Had coffee. I did my World Bible School and chatted with a woman who had murdered her mother many years ago out of anger in an argument and she didn’t feel worthy of doing the Bible Study, and not worthy of being loved, but she was trying. A Fall Salad, A Taste of Autumn, and Daily Self Reflection Journaling
The sunrises are so pretty in the mornings. Soon it will be dark I suppose. But God greets me in this season with beautiful skies and also beautiful artwork and colors when I cross the lake and the water and the sky form a fusion of pastel colors. Eating Well As Always We have eaten pretty well this week. And we did a FREEZER DIVE to the bottom to see what all we had. Something we have to do about every two years or so. I made a list. We have about 70 meals that will feed the two of us. We updated our kitchen chalk board with all the…
