    Making it Easier to Get Ready in the Mornings

    Well, here she is….the week before we left for Texas. I took some time to work on my dresser drawers and also the top of my closet. I used the Marie Kondo method of organizing the drawers. Everything is visible, folded where it stands up or where I can see every item. It makes me see what I have and really aids me in getting dressed and out the door in the mornings.     Easter Weekend Update

    Go ahead, grab something to drink and sit a while and catch up with me. Well, I guess coming into Easter Weekend on Friday I didn’t know what to expect. Honestly, compared to the rest of the month, any thoughts or plans were just completely in the back of my mind. I mean after appendicitis and surgery, traveling and being gone for almost two weeks, and trying to catch up from ALL THAT (still not), and the car dying and having/getting to get a new one – any thoughts of the weekend were just superseded by everything else.     Uncle Julio’s, Salty Dog, Fixing Leaks

    We had a nice dinner at Uncle Julio’s with my sister and her family. If you know, you know, this is wonderful that my Mom and my sister and me can have a meal together again. I’m grateful that my sister agreed to meet again. We met at Thanksgiving and also Saturday in Brentwood, which is about half way. We ordered the guacamole at the table which was so good and creamy. It’s the nicest Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to I think. And the fajitas were the best I’ve ever had. They were so good and uniquely grilled and larger pieces meat as well. So good.
