Office Makeover….Finally

Hello everyone! Here it is. Here is the Office Makeover video and you can watch it here. I’m so excited to be working, filming this week in the new office. It has made my mind, my backlog, and my planning so much easier. I can get work done more quickly, and don’t feel like I’m as behind. It’s been a big boost to my spirits and productivity, and outlook. It’s amazing how something like this being finished really lifts you up. After all we have been trying to get this done since March, but couldn’t due to all the attention that Mom has required with her health decline, additional moves, and all the hospital stays. Even when we finally getting to paint the room, there is yet ANOTHER hospital stay for her. It’s all in the video.

Life Update, While I’m here.

I’m in planning mode, trying to plan ahead for the rest of the year – videos (what and when), Christmas shopping finished, when to decorate and flip from fall to Christmas, and prep for our TX trip, and yes, also getting Mom settled.

Mom panics as we are about to travel and even 3 weeks before is planning her grocery outings and needs because after all we will be gone a WHOLE WEEK (lol) and she will have to stock up. It’s so funny b/c we buy her groceries every week anyway (not to mention she has 3 meals a day cooked for her that she pays for), but she thinks in her mind we will be gone a month and she will run out of something during that one week we are gone, lol. (insert eye roll here)

I guess that is about it for now. Nothing new and exciting but this week I need to re-shop my insurance plan on the marketplace. Word is all the insurance is going up next year. When does it not? $1200 a month is ridiculous. But maybe I can find something better/different. I doubt it but we shall see.

We have a quiet week ahead this week but plan a nice outing at Opry Mills mall one day for a bit of Christmas shopping. I’d also like to early wrap a few things. And maybe for once December can be enjoyable instead of rushing. It’s already better not having to work, and this year I will not be doing vlogmas, so I think it will be much better. But it’s the following week that will be crazy. I have an appointment for my physical, we have Mom’s appt with the lawyer to see about setting up a trust for her, and we have Mom’s f/u appt with her primary care (2 week f/u after COVID).

We also have to get ready for travel and all that. Life happens so fast. Anyway that is it. Ya’ll have a great week ahead.
