Fall Reset: I’m Ready for It!

Good morning! I have really been able to get a lot done in the house the last couple of weeks and move forward with some projects, and catch up. The Fall Reset week was a little topsy turvy though, with much responsibility still calling, and nursing an ear infection. So two doc appointments, one for me and one for Mom, but I managed to make progress in the house and on my to do list, and that is more than I can say since April. It feels good to be home more and getting the house reset has helped me relax so much, even though I know we are diving into a busier than life season! You can watch it HERE.

What a lovely week of blogs. Trying to keep up with things seems to get harder as we get older, maybe we need to give ourselves more grace. Fighting a summer cold here too, who gets a cold when it’s 90+ degrees??!! Last night I decided to give in to it, took the heavy-duty cold meds and finally slept. This morning has been deliberately slow, head and body feel groggy, still lounging, caught up on the blogs I read. Did most of the fall decorating this week, have a few things to finish but I also enjoy it so it’s not a chore. Fall is the best season, so over the heat. Looking over the next 15 days, there are 8 hot days with 3 still in the 90’s, on day 9 it seems to level off a bit and finally hit 79 degrees with temps after that in the high 70’s-low 80’s. I know it will probably change but it’s something to look forward too at least. I’m really glad to see you did your bucket list again!

I hope you feel better. Summer colds seem to linger. Yes same here. About another week of extreme heat and then just 80’s – looking for 60’s and 70’s! 🙂 I keep looking! 👀 One day!
