Reorganizing Under the Sink, Dress Shopping, Plantation Chicken Recipe

A woman smiling next to an organized under-sink area filled with cleaning products, alongside images of dress shopping, and a dish of plantation chicken, with text overlay stating 'A Few Days in My Life'.

Well, we just address it all in this one. I have a few projects I’m working on in the house, particularly under the kitchen sink just to make storage and access easier. I fix an awesome chicken recipe that will be a keeper recipe! It was divine. And I try on those dresses from Amazon – is shopping on line for an evening dress where it’s at? lol OH YEAH, and then there’s the tick bite.

You can watch it HERE.

Lot’s going on around here.

*Cleaning lady coming to give Mom a quote next week, and I’m meeting her there.

*Thinking about Fall Decorating but will wait til after Labor Day

*Invited Mom to come eat for Labor Day – having hamburgers.

*Mom’s appointment to tour assisted living place is next Friday. She’s not ready but we are looking at it to see if she likes it and to see the financial information and how it works.

*We are going to go to McKaye’s next week and sell my camera.

*We will be working in the basement today.

*Taking Mom to lunch tomorrow and to Lowe’s and to get groceries.

*I packed Magi boxes yesterday, some of which go to Ukraine.

*We are “playing the game” to determine what our anniversary restaurant will be this year.

*This week I’m editing George’s birthday outing and it will go live Saturday August 30th.

*We have better temps this week in the 80’s and even some evenings in the 50’s – praise the Lord.

Ok so that is the bullet pointed update. It’s really busy today and bullet points are all I can do. Trying to fit a lot in.

Everyone have a great week and here’s the link to the video if you want to watch it. HERE.

Hi Sonya, just watched the vlog. Good as usual. Loved you trying on the dresses but I have to admit none of,of the three dresses were …you…..so back they must go. I honestly don’t know how you are going to find something that you feel comfortable in…From that point it’s just going to have to be a so so dress. I think as plain as possible V neck no ruffles being plain you can then dress it up with jewlery, or chiffon scarf. etc. if possible mid length do you have high heals ? Don’t forget to take them with you they make a huge difference to how you look….you stand straighter/ taller and altogether look smart ..how about trousers sorry I can’t think what you call them oh yes Pants chiffon or velvet ( not silk. Silk makes you look a size bigger. ). You could then maybe find a dressy top…these just my daft suggestions…(.Or you could be too ill to attend any wedding at all !!!)
Glad you got the lower cupboard sorted out, but even more important was the tic bite. Hope the cream has worked. Night night. God Bless

Hello Sonya, loved your video as always you bring a smile to my face. Loved the dresses, actually they were not as bad as you think but a little casual for a formal wedding. You could use anyone of those for a dressier occasion if you should decide to keep one or two. I got lucky one time when I found the perfect formal dress at a Ross store, but you can’t always find what you’re looking for. Another time I was able to find one at Macy’s you would be pleasantly surprised as to what you could find there. I hope you all have a blessed week! xoxo
