Mid- Week update! Pedi, Doc, Work etc.

Guess what I’m doing as I type this? I’m getting a pedi! Mom is not with me as she likes to go every other time. So she will go 4 weeks from now at the next one, but it’s a guarantee she will ask me next week when we are going! (lol).

It is so hard to find time to get a blog entry done. Every minute of the week is taken.

But it’s nice to be pampered this evening.

It’s George’s night to hang with the guys. They never decide until afternoon the day of where they will meet. If it were women we would plan it weeks ahead and change it 3 times.

So I’m on my own for dinner. Not decided yet what I’ll do. Something quick. I need to send some cards out- a sympathy one and a get well one. And I need to get the thumbnail done and likely re upload my video. I got an alert today that the internet went down. It looked to be down for hours in the middle of the day. We seem to have recurring internet outages. I’m going to start tracking and keeping up with the dates and times and then ask Comcast for a prorated refund. And if this keeps happening I’m going to change our service. I’m sure the video upload was interrupted. So probably have to reload.

George had someone come over today to tune the piano that neither of us use. George said he’s going to start playing. Well Ok. It’s an old friend he used to be in a little band with a few years back that tunes the pianos.

I’ve been struggling a bit with working and the hours- not getting rest, not feeling good, and just being worn out at day’s end. I’m just dragging from hour to hour. It’s starting to impact my mood and patience.

I’m trying to embrace these last few days of work, seeing friends and actually enjoying the office environment but truth is I’m struggling to find rest and longing to be home. I need to be able to have time to exercise and try to be healthier. And not sitting for so long.

The new bed arrived and is so supportive and comfortable. I hope my back, hip, and leg heals and are no longer irritated.

Katy keeps in touch sending pics and FaceTimeing. I love her for that. Guess who is 3 months old?

A great pic of George and Dexter! Dexter often stares at me while sitting with George. I think he’s still jealous of Maddie taking me over. So he sneaks time with me when she is not looking and I try to love on him some extra times!

The videos are doing ok but I’ve purposely not done any planned content other than vlogs. I’m just tapped out creative wise right now, working, feeling not so great, taking care of Mom and dogs and just life’s events. So slow growth works for me til I’m off work and can focus more on intentional content.

But here’s this.

I went to the doctor for RX refill and discussed my leg, hip, back- which is some better. There’s no tingling or numbness so she just said take acetaminophen and do stretches. So I didn’t push further. But if continues we will need to.

Well I am closing this out. I don’t really know anything else to say! Just ready to relax after this and after I get a few things done.
