    Cicadas ? They are not something we have over here….First and only time we have heard them was in New Zealand quite a few years ago ! They do make such a noise, we did get used to them after a while but glad we don’t have them over here. The worst noise at the moment is the sound of Rooks who are nesting in three trees opposite us this year we have 19 nests I think almost all have or are just about hatching the parent birds fly about all day feeding the chicks all the time calling them ! It can be quite deafening at times, what with them and the trains that rush by every so often it’s no quiet country retreat!! But you get used to it especially the trains we don’t actually notice very much at all. But still I’d much rather have your deer etc…Great Vlog as always ( perhaps the background music towards the end was a bit on the loud side) but like our birds one can ignore it !! Enjoy the weekend.
