Message from George: Keep Warm
He really sent this in a private message but I took the liberty to post it everywhere. Glad he didn’t care. Anyway, working from home today. They sent an email saying they were opening the office from 10 to 4 or something like that but we have another system coming at noon. I have everything I need here. I need to have a productive day today as it wasted about 5 hours yesterday (breaking down my desk, repacking, driving in the dangerous conditions there, George sitting in the parking lot waiting on me as the mall was closed down …smart people…breaking down my desk again, repacking again, driving back in the not so good conditions, and resetting the office back up here in the afternoon.
Just NO. I’m not doing that again today. It would be a total waste of a day to do all that just to be leaving again at Noon and I’d not be working as much but watching the blasted radar to know when I needed to leave. I’m not getting out in this mess today with another system coming. I have everything I need here, so I’m doing the wise thing today and staying home and being productive. I have a lot to do and this is what I’ve decided.
The TRIBE has spoken. So I better get to my awesomely productive day! I supposed tomorrow will be the same. Mom has an eye injection appointment and I bet that will be cancelled too. We shall say. The fact that it’s not getting much above freezing, more stuff coming, and another refreeze on that, makes me fear for what tomorrow will be like. But I’m glad to be home and safe today and tomorrow.

Sonya, I’m so very glad your being sensible and staying home…I’m sure the company will understand ,,,and if they don’t just to bad….i know how hard you work whether at work or at home so I’m going to leave you and let you get on with the work. God Bless xx

It’s better to be safe than sorry. You got a lot of snow. It got down to 13 degrees but no snow. Grandson was happy School was delayed 2 hours because of icy backroads. The snow pictures you posted were very pretty.

Thanks – yes today was a wise decision. I figure everyone was scrambling at work around noon trying to get out of there. Not many answering emails lol. I had a very productive day today myself.

Packing up my office back and forth, plugging in keyboard, mouse, two monitors, Ethernet and many many tax files- not literally the actual desk but just setting up and taking it down back and forth- plugging and unplugging. And wagging files back and forth.
