Blogmas Day 6: Work Tree, Lunch, and a Sunset

Work tree.

Our work tree. Kind of elegant and classy I think. I enjoy seeing it in the lobby!

Lunch pick

I went with the rice cup on the far left, and also a baked potato. Still on bland foods for the most part. I had pain still today. However I’m only 5 pills in on 14 antibiotic pills. Hopefully this will get better. If not we take the next step.

Left early enough to catch the sunset. It’s so pretty as I leave work. Another long day today. Making up for being out some Thursday and some Friday for Moms appointments.

Continue the prayers. I really need healing! My body is tired of eating these starchy white foods! And finally tired of peanut butter spoonfuls although thankful for them. It has given me some protein. But I’m tired now and even sneezing so hoping my immune system is not waning further.

Nite nite y’all!

Hi, Sonya. Hope you’re feeling better soon. You’re right that some protein is advisable. In my case, I could include some cottage cheese, a plain egg, and Jello during a flare (unless on all liquids, of course). Obviously, ask your own doctor as I’m certainly not an expert! Take care of yourself.

Hi Sonya, what a nice tree that is. I’ve still to get the house decorated, I have the advent / nativity box out ( it’s a box with 25drawers that one opens each day they contain all things relating to the nativity by the 25th it’s the baby ) the nativity scene is a stable on top of the box) it’s really nice remembering everything that comes out each morning it always starts with the star, then two angels etc etc. they are all made of wood ….my niece is coming on Monday I think she will get the tree etc up…Thank you also for the lovely sunset it’s beautiful. Sorry things have not yet improved tummy wise. Hope it’s better soon or another visit to Dr will have to be made love. Take care xxx

Maybe you could drink ensure or premiere protein shakes. That’s like torture not being able to eat what you want. Especially right here at Christmas. Prayers for healing.
The Christmas tree is pretty. I love the flocked trees. We just put up a little tree in our dining room. And our same artificial one we’ve had for years. I have a mix match assortments of ornaments we have collected over the years.
I saw where we may get snow Sunday. Stay warm & take care of yourself.

Yes. I like ensure but they often have more sugar than I want. They have a good taste. When I have pain they say no dairy but as it mends I can add it back and drink yogurt smoothies. Good to hear from you! Hope you get some snow, if it’s convenient!

It makes my day when I hear from you...
