Random Week in Retirement | This Week’s Update
Well we had a fun little time in Columbia, my old hometown where I grew up, but it did make my heart heavy as there was not only good times there but some heartbreaking times as well. So a little heavy at times. We had company over as Aunt Martha and Uncle Ken were up from Florida (Yulee/Amelia Island area) near Jacksonville. We enjoyed getting to see them. Basement DeClutter & Weekly Update
Well, after years of wanting to work in the basement, or should I say years of putting it off, it has finally STARTED, even if slowly. Our basement area has been a blessing for sure. In so may ways. It is a whole floor in which we have a finished section and an unfinished section and on one end of the unfinished section it holds two cars for a garage. It has a lot of storage area including the lawn mower, a row of 3 sets of heavy shelves for storage, a whole set of kitchen cabinets, and it has been a holding ground for family’s stuff (ours, Katy’s, George’s…
