    My Goals, My Mission, and My Word of the Year for 2024

    Happy New Year everyone! It has been the most wonderful, quiet, relaxing New Year’s I’ve ever had. Three days of bliss. Rest, sleep, writing, playing computer games, watching shows, and repeat. My mind has become untangled and I’m in NO HURRY to do anything. That will change in the coming days but for right now, that is the mindset. I sat down with a pen and a fresh journal for 2024 and began writing. My goal was to list what I would like 2024 to look like, in hopes that my goals, planning, and actions will lead me in that direction.     Blogmas Day 17: Time with Family and Planning Christmas Meals.

    We visited an assisted living place today. Only to donate something but still it was good to see this place. Hearthstone Assisted Living in Lebanon TN. It is a place I would consider for Mom. We ate lunch on the square in Lebanon at Town Square Social. And ate with Aunt Martha and Uncle Ken up from FL. Here was my view out the window. George and I came home and worked on our to do lists.     Blogmas Day 1: Christmas Tree, Retirement, and Time Blocking

    Let’s start Blogmas Day 1 with the Christmas Tree as it was this morning around 5:45 a.m. after we took the dogs out for their morning business. It’s quite pretty to look at in the mornings. You can see me in the mirror there taking the pic. George has wrapped a few gifts already. I have too but they need bows before I can add them under the tree. Happy December! I’m taking a PTO day.
