Well, I know you have waited a while to see what all we did in Texas (and Hot Springs). You can watch it HERE. It was a trip in which I totally needed to take a break and back off of social media and YouTube a bit as we took the final demanding plunges into the holidays and into my last days of work. Road Trip Part I: Headed to Texas via Hot Springs, Ark
So here’s the first leg of our trip! Was rough getting out of town – that was half the battle. Daughter in labor, doing payroll, cars won’t start. Dexter got a boo boo. But Hot Springs was both amusing, and fun. It made us laugh and we shared our worst hotel experience ever. Then on to Texas. There was no shortage of good eats, I tell you that. Hot Springs and Heading Home
It takes so long, this trip. Even 6 hours is long! Here we pass Dallas after a couple hours on the road. Hot Springs bound. We stopped at Bucee’s for coffee and a potty break! I spent 45 minutes in there which delayed our lunch plans! lol Katy sent one week old photos to us of Tater Tot! We finally got to eat lunch at our pre-selected place, Diablo’s in Hot Springs. We got “street tacos”! So good! Barbacoa tacos were so good. Like the best tender roast beef you have ever had on a taco with lime and cilantro, etc. Then we walked around Hot Springs til time to…
