Blooms, Sleep, Productivity, and Milestones
May is just a beautiful month. Lots of blooms. It’s short-lived it seems. I supposed we need to plant more summer flowers that come back that are pretty in June and July. We used to have day lilies but after a while they quit coming back. But who knows how long we will even be here. The peonies are just beautiful. We have a group of irises that bloomed. Since George thinned them out years ago, somehow they just did not do as well. He was trying to keep all the colors from morphing together. Easter Weekend Update
Go ahead, grab something to drink and sit a while and catch up with me. Well, I guess coming into Easter Weekend on Friday I didn’t know what to expect. Honestly, compared to the rest of the month, any thoughts or plans were just completely in the back of my mind. I mean after appendicitis and surgery, traveling and being gone for almost two weeks, and trying to catch up from ALL THAT (still not), and the car dying and having/getting to get a new one – any thoughts of the weekend were just superseded by everything else. January Progress: Crushing the Goals So Far
I made a list of what all I have managed to do this month. I think it went very well considering that part of the diverticulitis was going on, recovering from the holidays, doing quarter end, and a major snowstorm. Not a bad month and it went very fast. I know the other months will too. So I think overall that was pretty good. I still have a lot I didn’t do. But I think that my idea of not pushing myself and taking it slow, kept me motivated to do what I could and not be frustrated or discouraged. Spreading all the year’s goals out over the year made them seem more manageable. Prioritization comes…
