    Decluttering the Cabinets

    Part of the fun of retirement is getting to go through your stuff and see what you have. You can watch it here. This is our second pass as George did this a year ago when he retired but this time we did it together and got rid of a few more and reorganized the cabinets and made it much neater.     Making it Easier to Get Ready in the Mornings

    Well, here she is….the week before we left for Texas. I took some time to work on my dresser drawers and also the top of my closet. I used the Marie Kondo method of organizing the drawers. Everything is visible, folded where it stands up or where I can see every item. It makes me see what I have and really aids me in getting dressed and out the door in the mornings.     Organizing My Dresser Drawers, Closet, and Shoes

    I had quite the day yesterday organizing my dresser. I filmed it too but that will be out later in the month. I unfolded the socks which were folded in on themselves and refolded them as you see above. I placed them in little containers I had around the house and placed them by color. Here you see one of two pajama drawers. I put the off season clothes and Christmas socks in the bottom drawer. Each outfit is rolled up and like the socks, you can see each set.
