Unwelcome Surprise this Week and Planning Mom’s Move
Thursday, May 14 Well, sometimes things don’t go quite as planned. We have to accept that. I’m having a little mini crisis. Since about 8:30 last night, about an hour after dinner, I began having a sharp pain in my left side. I’m familiar with it. It’s some type of colon flare I get – it’s rare now when I get it and short lived. Sometimes I can just ignore it and it will go away. But this time it’s being a little persistent bugger. I was able to sleep since I took Tylenol, but awoke to pain again this morning at 4:00. I drank a whole glass of water…

Mom in the Hospital and Finding Her Assisted Living Place
Above is a pic of me in the visitor chair and Mom in the hospital bed beside me. It was no time to photo or video anything so I just took a shot of our feet. And you can see her wheel chair up there. I am so far behind in blogging. It was a crazy week. But I will do my best to recap the days as everything unfolded. Monday, April 20, 2026 Mom had one more test at Summit Hospital (Tri-Centennial) to see if she qualified for the TAVR procedure.
