Packed Up for Travel and Plans for the Weekend

Well, all my clothes are packed for the trip. Ummm my suitcase is a little more modern than this. I notice this one above has wheels but it’s not in the right place. lol. These AI pics crack me up.

I still have to pack all the last minute stuff, but the clothes are packed so I won’t wear them and get them dirty and then not have time to do laundry again before I go, so packing early is helpful.

Sorry about the post yesterday. I read it back and I can see why it sounded so off the wall, techie! I had a hard time following it back when I read it. But yeah it was a great day yesterday just messing with my iPhone Reminder app, making lists, updating the calendar, and updating my iPhone screens. I enjoyed the changes I made yesterday.

When George is gone to Texas I am going to be as nerdy as I want. I plan to upgrade the blog then to the new version. I’ve been meaning to do it all year but have been afraid to. But there is a new version of this style. Honestly I’d be up for any style of change in the blog, but this theme seemed to be more the style for blogs. I just want a cute home page and a side bar but honestly most people are on their phones and the side bar is at the end. Sometimes I think I want a change and a fresh clean look but it’s so hard to make the WordPress themes do what you want, without it being so complicated and burdensome and time consuming. So I have to be in the frame of mind for it and plan for a day of changeover (or two). There are somethings I just gave up on in this theme.

I don’t have a lot of news today. It was kinda later in the day when I posted yesterday. I did manage to get a few things done in the afternoon – like packing and calling my Mom and scheduling the time frame and place to eat for today.

Looking forward to Texas. Leaving out Tuesday. Will vlog of course. But first George and I have our excursion tomorrow to use up a coupon at Black Abbey Brewing, and then grab lunch somewhere near Brentwood, and then go to use our $100 gift card at Total Wine. No doubt they will have tastings and we always enjoy that.

But today I’ll be in Hendersonville with Mom for her eye appt. So lots of driving. I go from Mount Juliet to Lebanon, to Hendersonville where the closest eye doc is and then take her back to Lebanon and me back to Mount Juliet. We get a lunch out of it while in Hendersonville. Lots of good places.

I have to remember to take pics for the blog now. I’m out of the habit. That is why I use a lot of AI created pics. But the AI on here is not very good. lol
