Shopping Spree, Spent Too Much?

A few weeks ago I made a decision -on a whim – after a stressful week (during the time of deciding and giving notice). I may have gone a little overboard? Or maybe it was just what I needed (and we needed). I don’t shop like this but once or twice every two years (except at Christmas when the purse strings are opened, lol). But it was one lovely day I had to myself eating and shopping. I think it was worth it personally. You’ll have to watch the video to see what George thought, lol.
I’m enjoying a long weekend this weekend and it ALSO is doing me wonders. Hope you guys are having a wonderful weekend too. I finished the puzzle and now I can clean my office, take down this table, put up the slender camping table, and can put the Christmas gifts on it, til we get it get it wrapped. I film in my office so I might have to put a sheet over it, lol. Anyway lots of fun things today and getting the house back in working order from ignoring it for about 3 weeks.
August is winding down this week and September brings a lot of exciting to do’s, planning, and a whole slew of new video ideas. September and October spell out the bulk of my remaining work days as Nov and Dec have lots of PTO days. So things are starting to wind down. I have finished the payroll manual (almost) and starting to trickle bringing things home from my office – little by little. I took the briefcase home so I wouldn’t forget it. I brought my turtle and stress ball home. I brought a little basket home. Just a few things each week, so as to not have to make a big splash of having boxes and carts to move me out. I gotta lot of stuff in there. I’m leaving my fridge and under the desk storage unit for the next person but I’m taking my black book shelf and blackboard as I bought those myself and am looking forward to using those at home.
Anyway just excited as we slip into fall. And feeling relaxed with this extra much needed day off to rejuvenate me.

Good morning. Great ideal bringing a little by little bit home. When I retire I just return my computer, I work from home now about 3 years.

What a WONDERFUL day you had. I’m so happy for you. You looked tons better when you got so much done. I liked most of your buys and I certainly think you deserved everything. The tops you got are ever so nice, would be hard to chose a fav. But I think the white one with the nice stitching on it stood out for me, as you say you can use it as a jacket as well as an attractive blouse. I’m amazed at the cost you have to pay seems much more than we do for some things….Anyway hope you will now concentrate in throwing out some of the many tops you already have so you have space to keep all your new things. Great to get started on Xmas for the boys…lucky Kate and Cody to have such good parents as I expect Cody’s Mum buys as well for the boys…

Yes I’ve had some stressed days, anxious days, and feel way more happy. I’m glad to hear it’s coming through. I also chuckled at someone binging on my videos lol – I’m so appreciative and hope you survived it haaaa!
