What We’ve Been Up to Since the Holiday?

Hello everyone! I thought with the new blog theme and quickness of the ability to pump a blog entry out, I’d be able to squeeze it in, but temporarily forgot how I have every second of my day planned out. Anyway I’m sneaking in a post tonight at risk of losing sleep over it.
Above is a quick screen shot of our July 4th meal. The vlog coming out this weekend is during the week of the 4th. So I’ll not post a lot about it here. It was a busy week that week.
Look at my grand babes!

A Milestone Was Reached on the Blog.
We reached 200,000 views this past week on the blog. Thanks to all who make that number happen. This caught my attention!

And then I clicked on it and saw this…..

Bought a Much Needed Calendar.

These came as a bundle set on Amazon – the Calendar and also a “non-dated” Weekly Planner.

Cleaned the Office.

Tonight I actually worked on the puzzle. My goal is to at least put one piece in a night, but I usually don’t get close to that. But tonight while I was in my office I made myself sit and fit one in. I fit in like 8! lol. I enjoy it so. But see, now it’s bed time and I’m still doing things. George had a guys night out tonight so I grabbed Hibachi Jr and finished editing. The video is uploading and I went ahead and got the thumbnail done.
I am Feeling Better.
The tummy issues are waning, or the kidney stone, or both or whatever it is. I truly think that it is a gut issue that is sending my whole body reeling. I’ve been doing all the things. And improvement is getting better every day. Today I noticed how good I felt. I’ll share a little on video soon (in the next week and a half or so) as to what all I’m doing. One thing is I’ve not had a lot of sugar. I’ve significantly reduced sugar, including alcohol. I’m planning on it being an “every now and then” thing, instead of having a glass of something every day or every other day. I think it hinders any progress. Sleep is a little better. I’m trying to catch myself when stressing. I’m trying to “let that stuff go”. I try to just tell myself I don’t care, because it’s not worth it, and snicker at whatever this issue is. But the one thing that does not work on is stress over computer, phone, electronics, etc. I swear there is a devil in each one! lol
My Electronics are Haunting Me!

Wow, I quickly generated the above pic within my blog entry after seeing “create with AI” right next to “insert image”. So I gave it a try. I asked it to create an office scene with a broken down computer, printer, watch, etc. You can tell some things are not right. But honestly it kinda conveys my thinking here.
I have just had a week where all of my things are “not working”. I have had internet connectivity issues in the house. They are mostly resolved, but now it seems to just be targeting me and my computer. My computer just randomly quits allowing the internet. Also my printer at work sounds like it is giving birth to a cow. The new one is sitting in the IT office waiting to be installed – for two weeks now. (I’m clearly not a priority.) So the printer keeps howling in birth pains – which ironically are actually pains of a slow death. My Apple Watch has quit charging properly. I hope it’s the charger. I bought a new charger and will try it tonight if I’m awake enough to plug it up and figure it out after this blog entry. And my calculator quit working at work. Well it won’t print on the tape – unless you hold your tongue sideways and point your right pinky toe toward it. After a while it all starts to get old. Right? You start to take it personal when you look around and everyone’s everything is working just fine. Why are my electronics ganging up on me? lol.
A New Supplement.

I’ve been taking Apple Cider Vinegar for a while. I ran out and didn’t take any for a while and then my trouble started back. So you bet I was back on Amazon to buy more. However, I found the real deal! With Ashwagandha. I had products with Ashwagandha through that other wellness company I used a few years ago. I found it worked really well for stress. So I’ve been taking this and I think it helps me.
Baptisms
I’m happy to say that two of my students have been baptized this summer. It’s between God’s Word and their hearts. All I do is adopt, grade, and encourage. I love seeing God move. I’m sure it’s ok to post these as I know they are proud of becoming God’s children. Praise be to the Lord and I’m so glad these had open hearts and received. One was in Ghana and one was in Zambia. How brave to get down into a dirty creek bed. What has to be done has to be done! So proud of both of them.

Doesn’t this calendar picture look like Dexter? lol

Well, I should probably head to bed. It’s half hour past the time I needed to be there. Still have to take dogs out, put on PJ’s, brush teeth, wash face, pick out clothes for tomorrow, take night time meds – never ending lists.
See you Saturday!

I’m so pleased to see an entry. Ihave even worried about you as it seemed a wee while since I heard from you. Glad you’re ok though. I recon all your electronics stopping ..not working etc. is just reminding you it’s time to retire. In other words STOP WORKING …I always say health is much much more important than wealth….you can change that word to work ! You will need your health to enjoy your retirement ..please please stop working sooner rather than later…
I’m so pleased that some of the Bible study students that you have been helping are now at the point of accepting the Lord as their saviour ..what a blessing…..Hope you will have a nice weekend. Am looking forward to seeing the log tomorrow Take care. God Bless

You all have a good day! I’ve woken up to Friday now and George and I have a date night out. Really just going to get groceries at a fun Kroger – they have nicer things. And using up a gift card to eat out. Should be hopefully a fun day.
