Relaxing Weekend, Time with Pets, and Crispy Fries in the Air Fryer

I hope you all are having a great weekend. I’m so happy it’s Saturday. Had a lovely evening at home last night, resting a bit, had a good dinner and fell asleep to Chihuahua II. Hardly got 15 minutes in to the movie before the busy week just did me in totally.

Here was the shirt I wore to work yesterday. Might have needed to be ironed but no time. The humidity had to knock out the wrinkles. Yes the humidity has now arrived. The South’s official summer has started. I DID enjoy my coffee and pet my chihuahua this morning! ;-).

George and I are heading out on an excursion today. These are few and far between, but we are headed to Franklin/Cool Springs area today. Perhaps I’ll have time to blog about it tomorrow but it’s a busy day so I’m not sure. We will be out and about all day today and I have a lot to do around the house, as well as laundry. All special projects have been tossed to next Saturday.

The big June projects are to: Get my passport made, maybe start painting in the house, go through drawers in the den area, do a special video this month (I’m just struggling with time though), get Mom’s birthday gifts so I’m not having to do it next month, get some PJ’s for Little Roo for summer and also something cute for Little Toot, make a new YT end screen, and then there are just always all the normal monthly things, plus household cleaning, plus Mom’s things, plus continuing to get rid of things via the Marie Kondo method.

I am so excited to share some news from yesterday. One of my students in Zambia through World Bible School had asked to be baptized after doing the lessons, and so I followed the process through WBS to get a rep for the student in the Zambia area. I received word through the portal yesterday that finally after two weeks of waiting, prodding through WBS and asking about delays, he was finally baptized yesterday morning. They are supposed to send me pics. I broke into tears yesterday upon word. This is my first student to be baptized. It’s all GOD’s glory, not mine. It’s God’s Word, and the person’s heart that caused the success. My only part is just grading his tests, inserting some comments, giving encouragement and support. But it is wonderful and encouraging TO ME to see the process work. It’s truly “fishers of men”. It’s truly like catching a fish, lol. Only for God. I just casted the net, I tossed out the line. I’m so happy. This is why I do this and it’s nice to see the process! I’m so happy!

Meanwhile in Texas. It’s getting hot there too. Look at them play in the blow up pool on the ranch.

George got his Father’s Day gifts in the mail. Look at these! Complete with blue tongue and everything!
