Blogmas Day 11: The one with flowers!
Oh how thrilled I was to get these from my Secret Santa today. So beautiful! I love them!
Mom and I got our nails done! Much to my surprise I decided to go with an “almost white pink”. I just didn’t want red. Last year they got on my nerves before it was time to change! I’ll probably go Snow White in January.
So after we ate we went to Dos Sisters close by. I had grilled chicken with grilled pineapple. I’ve been ordering things like this on the menu at Mexican restaurants instead of tacos and fajitas and enchiladas. I’ve been amazed at how wonderful the chicken dishes have been. Very tender. And the grilled veggies and/pineapple have been so good. It’s almost like a different nationality of food on its own. I think I’ll not look back. The taste far exceeds regular Mexican flare.
So after shopping more for secret Santa and getting gas and taking Mom home, I am finally home. I’m pretty flattened. Payroll is tomorrow.
I’ve been texting with my sister catching up.
It’s time to go to bed. But I have to capture a couple of “to do” items.

What lovely flowers, such a clever Secret Santa……Your nail colour looks good. Would quite like to have mine done again but because I’ve only had it done once then the results was so bad it took my nails months to come back to normal…I’ve never chanced it again. Hope today goes well and you can relax a bit….take care xx

Good idea to try chicken dishes at a Mexican restaurant! I think I’ll go that direction the next time I eat at Mexican restaurant. I’m getting a little burnt out with the regular items there. Those flowers are beautiful!
