Today’s the Day to See the New House Inside / Our Halloween Night Out
Today is the day! Excitement is in the air as Mom and I get to see her new house today. It’s not hers until closing on Friday though. I tried to relax this weekend and do what I wanted, knowing that the next few months are going to be probably the busiest holiday season of our lives. I’m excited for Mom. I hope she gets to live here a while. I hope we can enjoy helping her piece it together instead of wearing all of us out. I am both excited and yet set with fear. In the Mood to Read and Mid Week Update
Good day friends! It’s a nice morning here with the likes of summer still hanging on. Fall changes coming soon. The hot coffee is excellent – Kroger Brand’s Private Selection Guatemalan Antiguan. I think it’s even more special than Starbucks. I’m in a huge mood to sit under a blanket and read and/or play computer games. Having had a few weeks of rushing through many to do lists, many small details of things here and there, and knowing we have many to come – I just want to sit for a spell and read. Signs of Fall, Fall Bucket List, and Anticipation of the Move
A Fall Walk. Happy Sunday here. The rain fell over night and the dark clouds remained so the sun did not wake us up this morning. The result was a nice 10.5 hour and much needed sleep versus the 6.5 I normally get. Sleep is good for the psyche. And so is walking. I did the twenty minute walking early in the day, before the rain threatened and before my day took me on other paths. I enjoyed the walk.
