Snow Week: Curbing My Anxiety, and Being Productive During the Winter Storms
Well here’s last week’s adventures during our SNOW WEEK you can watch it HERE. I’m so glad it’s Saturday ya’ll…and I have a lot of things planned for today. The normal laundry day of course, but I’m picking up the final winter decor and snowmen and deer and winter birds and packing them up. And then will put out some pink/red looks for Valentine’s Day. After Valentine’s I’ll swap out for greenery and spring stuff. I love doing this. So going to dust today too while switching things out. I was going to put my new curtains up that was to arrive yesterday. They are arriving today it says. However, I’d forgotten to order the rods…

He really sent this in a private message but I took the liberty to post it everywhere. Glad he didn’t care. Anyway, working from home today. They sent an email saying they were opening the office from 10 to 4 or something like that but we have another system coming at noon. I have everything I need here. I need to have a productive day today as it wasted about 5 hours yesterday (breaking down my desk, repacking, driving in the dangerous conditions there, George sitting in the parking lot waiting on me as the mall was closed down …smart people…breaking down my desk again, repacking again, driving back in the not so good conditions,…

Snowed In Days and Anxiety Getting Out In It
Well the snow arrived. Sharing some pics. You can see that we’ve managed to walk around the house! I think we had 5 or 6 inches or so. Here’s the graveyard in the woods behind us. Here’s my office set up at home. I got a lot done yesterday. No interruptions much and not much email. I got our weekly taxes paid, stuffed the check stubs for our TN plant. Paid the federal taxes, worked on my garnishment reconciliation. Monday I was able to make the switcheroo on my white board in my office to list the goals for the year.
