Friday, January 2, 2026 Wow, so odd to write “2026” yet here we are. Since I did my 2026 goals and posted them yesterday, I decided not to journal anything. That was enough, lol. But we had a great day yesterday. As usual, I had more on the list than I could handle but I knew that going into the day. And now I can relax and not make myself push through. Basement Decluttering and Weekly Update

In the video, we work on the basement some downstairs, we fix the most awesome pork roast ever, and I found Mom a cleaning lady that actually showed up and communicates! I have been trying all week to blog but it has been one of the busiest week’s we’ve had since retirement. On Monday, we went to Opry Mills Mall and I found my shoes for the black tie event. Today’s To Do List Getting Ignored: So all is well here. The mood is good. Busy. I’m trying hard to get a lot done before August ends. But there is just a lot to do. I had a lot on my list today but laundry, grocery shopping, fixing breakfast, cleaning kitchen, editing a YouTube video- all things I wanted to do and enjoyed doing – kept me from all these things below.
