Facing my Fears on the Ranch in Texas

Oh my! Well you can watch this week’s video HERE.
Ok so here’s me capturing my trip to Texas and in the ins and outs of that including my tangle with mice in the guest house. Am I a city girl at heart? lol
UPDATE.
I’ve had the most awesome week being alone – think of it as me climbing Mount Everest or sailing my first sailboat. That’s what being alone is kinda like for me…..a big challenge. But I was looking forward to it, in the respect of seeing what all I could do with my time, not having interruptions, not having to share the remote, not being on a particular schedule, prepping all my meals, cleaning up, still doing housework and trying to get more done on the computer, having quietness. But can I do it all alone? And can I sleep good not having George in the house.
So it’s been a good week and I vlogged it. All that is coming soon. I pick him up at the airport today so I can announce that he is gone. I have not blogged this week because to talk about my day would end up revealing he was not here, so I just didn’t tempt myself. I knew if I mentioned it on the internet that this was the week he was gone, then I’d be scared at night thinking something would go wrong.
Anyway, it’s been a fun week. I actually did get a few more things done than I normally do, all in my time, ate what I wanted, kept up good function in the kitchen, watched TV when I wanted, read in the quiet when I wanted, slept without noise in the house, mastered (sort of) how to walk Dexter (but it still scares me as he is truly a strong dog). But I’m making it sound like I’m happy George is away. Not at all. I would really be lonely if he were gone for much more time. Dinner time was most lonely as I ate at the table without him, and morning and evening routines are best done with him and our coffee time, errand running times etc. But I’ll pick him up today.
Anyway, I have a lot I want to do today and I need to get off of here and see what all I can get done. Busy week next week. But will try to blog some if I can work it in.
Everyone have a good week. And you can watch today’s video HERE.

I really enjoyed your video. It’s neat to see Texas. Looks like lots of shopping places. But I know you’re glad to be home.
No place like home and in your own bed.
Take care,
