Fall Planning: Schedule it, Stage it!
Good morning! Sipping coffee here on this rather warm “Autumn” morning. Our fun fall season begins today as we begin our first Christmas shopping excursion of the season – planned during the filming of this episode (fall planning)! Filming our day today too, so look forward to THAT on an upcoming Saturday morn about two to three weeks from now.

Enjoy! Having a busy day today – gotta try to get laundry done, plus my normal stuff done, pay Mom’s bills, film a video, plus go shopping so we can have a special Christmas for everyone this year! ;-).

Thanks as always for today’s Vlog. I’m exhausted just listning and watching you plan your days, weeks, and months up till Christmas….you know me I’m completely opposite to you planning wise. I take each day as it comes and rarely make plans !! Having said that I have thought ahead and actually got booked at our local hotel for our Christmas Day meal….good job too as it was already 80% booked…it’s just for Mary, Peter and me. Up till I think 3 years ago I always made dinner and I did enjoy getting Christmas dishes etc etc out and setting a lovely table…however I decided that in all truth the meal I cooked was really much the same as I did for a Sunday…however it seemed to take all week doing it getting tables decorated etc etc. and as soon as the meal was over that was that and everything was put away till next year. I was exhausted. So that year 3/4 years ago Peter suggested we treat each other to a Christmas Dinner out..Mary thought it a great idea and so we did just that and now it’s booked again..only change is weare going to a hotel just on the outskirts of the village so hardly any driving for Peter….SO. I have thought ahead to Christmas….even saw some cards today ! Anyway your Vlog has given me some thoughts of things we might do before the year is out….

I’m so happy I ran into your retirement video onYouTube. I’ve since become a subscriber and watched all your prior videos. Now I look forward to Saturday’s to see what you all get into . I really don’t know how you do it all. I never used to plan because for whatever reason I thought planning would become a let down when things don’t happen as you planned, but I pushed thru that and became a somewhat planner and have enjoyed it every since…. but your videos have taken my planning to a whole different level and my husband and I are really enjoying it.
