Organizing My Dresser Drawers, Closet, and Shoes

I had quite the day yesterday organizing my dresser. I filmed it too but that will be out later in the month.
I unfolded the socks which were folded in on themselves and refolded them as you see above. I placed them in little containers I had around the house and placed them by color.
Here you see one of two pajama drawers. I put the off season clothes and Christmas socks in the bottom drawer. Each outfit is rolled up and like the socks, you can see each set.

In my underwear and bra drawer (those aren’t pictured) I have Maddie’s clothes, my winter hats, and winter gloves. They didn’t fit in the bottom drawer and I had room in the top drawer.

I also kept my masks from 2020 because I can breathe in those if we ever have to wear masks again. Of course most doctor’s offices want you to wear their kind.
I also got rid of some shoes.
I made so much room that I did not need these baskets for my flip flops anymore. So I put my books in there instead. Loved that. I’ll be reading these next.

Here’s the closet. I worked on the shelves. This closet holds a lot!

I had already done the clothes using the Marie Kondo method. I pretty much have them organized by color.
I’m still trying to decide if I like that. It helps when picking out clothes but I used to pull from the left and put newly washed on the right. That way I knew I was wearing all my clothes. And not just the same ones over and over. lol
I’ve done this blog entry on the go. Coming and going from church. lol
About the only way I can find time.
Have a great week ahead!

Maybe you can sort your clothes by cleanliness and color. Kind of combine methods.

lol yeah- they are all clean lol! I usually only wear things once and put it in laundry. But I know what you mean. I just don’t want to forget to wear some and wear some more than others.
