Boring but Fun Little Week

Well it was a dark dreary week but we tried our best to have a bit of fun, get things done, and call January “a wrap”. I found a new easier, but stinky way, to polish silver, and George does his finest at trying to sneak into my videos. He surprises me with a cookie of three candles, one for each 100 YouTube subscribers.

Otherwise a pretty good week. I have worked hard on the year end processes with the w-2 reporting at work, but since I did not get the w-2’s until the afternoon of the 29th, it was impossible to do all the reporting. I think I have a picture here. It takes me thru a chunk of Feb to get it all done. Even though some states have no employees, if it is still open you have to go file a ZERO return. But I’m probably over half the list after yesterday’s productive morning at home.  I always feel such relief when this is done. 

Mom’s doc appt (eye injection shot) went well yesterday and we ate at Longhorn afterwards. We had a good time. She was in a good mood. ;-) The next doc appt is like 9 weeks out. They are getting longer in between visits. 

I hope you like the blog look. The other was fun but this works better for a blog format I believe. I’m VERY over the moon excited about it and it makes me want to blog more. This theme seems faster and easier on my end. I actually learned a lot while designing the theme. It’s not near as easy as blogger. It has more bells and whistles and the tools are so much different. I got thru it in about 4 .5 to 5 hours. Only a geeky person will spend their Friday night in such a manner. 

Much to do today. I will vlog part of it. See you tomorrow. I think I can blog easier now and will be here more often.
