Blogmas Day 14: Secret Santa Reveal and a Pedicure
So I feel both pressure and relief from not posting a video this week but mostly relief! I will do a community post though letting everyone know on YouTube. It would be cool if somehow I pulled it off. But not pressuring myself. I mainly just have to go through a lot of footage and shorten what I put out to wrap up the year!
We had our Secret Santa Reveal party today. How fun! I have been treated so well by my Secret Santa Andy. Here was today’s gift. A throw and I love the color. And Reese’s- you know I love! And a card that something else is coming. It said secret Santa was extending. How cool. It’s been so nice.
I’m getting my pedicure today. I paid $10 more for a SPA pedi. It’s my gift to myself. I think it comes with an exfoliating scrub and extra lotion.
So I’m in the chair at the salon and the lady next to me is on the phone arguing or being ugly with someone. She just got on to her teen across the room 10 feet away about something she did today. My goodness. How embarrassing for the teen. And I could do without that mess while I’m getting a spa treatment lol.
Ahhh this spa pedi is wonderful! I got the eucalyptus lotion!
I can hardly think of what to write as this lady next to me is so loud. She’s like Roseanne Barr lol!
Anyway I’m off tomorrow and George and I are going to run some errands. Afternoon opened up for me until about 3:30. So that helps. Glad it’s a long weekend. Maddie girl gets a trim Saturday!

Oh my gosh this lady…. most people don’t subject others to such, but there’s always ONE that just has to be heard and seen lol!

I’m glad your sitting there having your pedi…what a shame about that woman shouting so everyone will know what she is about….you would think the she want a nice cool and relaxing session. .. anyway love take care just sit back and close your eyes.

I think you’re smart to hold off on the video. You’ve often said that you do them because you enjoy doing it, so if it’s causing stress, just wait until the timing is better. I’m sure lots of your followers are in the same boat at the moment—it’s hard to find an extra half hour or so to watch a favorite video with so many holiday obligations to fulfill. Come January, everyone will be ready to curl up and watch with far fewer interruptions.

Most of the people I watch post a daily Vlogmas but it stresses them out so. Most of them have made it to FT YouTube though.
I’m happy with the break. If I’d had less footage I could have managed it but I blogged more than ever.

It amazes me sometimes how rude people can be in a public place. Once when I was getting a pedicure this woman beside of me went to sleep and with her head thrown back started snoring. People who worked there started laughing. There is no way I could sleep in a public place like that. Luckily the girl that worked there started scrubbing on her toes and she woke up.

I could never sleep like that either lol. Cutting back on my schedule some. The only thing left to cut out is the fun stuff and church! Not sure what else to do.

I am very happy that our salon is very Zen. Low soft music and the patrons talking with each other in low voice so not carried throughout. I don’t think I have ever heard anyone raise their voice in there. Not like the one we went to before this. It is so enjoyable just to be pampered and appreciated by the staff
